Hogar was founded in 2024 from a desire to give people back their time. Our biggest mission in breaking into the industry is to maximize property owners' revenue, earning them the truly passive income they seek. By holistically taking care of properties we are able to give property owners the peace of mind they deserve, a deposit in their account each month, and the time to do what they truly enjoy. We are not a boss or owner - above all Hogar is your partner.
Javier Marquina
A Miami native, Javier attended Belen Jesuit and went on to graduate cum laude with a degree in Industrial Engineering from Northeastern University. He realized his passion for helping provide value to others while working for Mckinsey & Company's data analytics team in 2022 - 2023. Today, Javier aims to grow partnerships that will give people back their time by earning them truly passive income. Javier is hugely passionate about travel, SCUBA diving, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu!

Michael Sjogren
Originally from Boston, Mike got involved in the short term rental space in 2017 with his property management organization Occupied. After gaining experience and building a well established short term rental portfolio spanning 4 states, he created Short Term Rental Secrets, an international community of short term rental investors and managers. Today, Mike advises and guides Hogar to help deliver the best possible partnership to property owners in South Florida.

Michael Reilly
After studying Economics at Penn State, Mike co-founded Your BNB Property, a now successful property management organization based out of North Carolina. It was during his time as a Business Development Executive at Google that Mike was able to scale his hospitality business and identify his passion for the real estate sector. Today, Mike serves as an advisor to young entrepreneurs who find themselves in the shoes he was once in.
